The Board

President: John Cox

John began his professional life as a primary teacher. He currently also works for the Uniting Church, where he is the Queensland Synod Assistant Secretary. Since his ordination he has worked in the Bracken Ridge, Bald Hills and Enoggera communities.

Treasurer: Robert Packer

Robert has recently retired from the position of General Secretary, Queensland Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia, and was previously the Director Finance and Property Services Queensland Synod. He has played a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability of a number of Uniting Church entities. He is a qualified accountant with over thirty years experience in senior finance positions with a government corporation, business and not-for-profit organisations. He has wide experience on various boards and committees.

Secretary: Tania Lindenmayer

Tania is the non-Board public officer of the association. As Jabiru’s Operation Support Manager, she is responsible for all aspects of administering the organisation. She has been with Jabiru since soon after it began.

Board Member: Sarah Lim

Sarah Lim has worked in the human services sector for twenty years, across the government and not-for-profit sector. With a legal background underpinning vast social and legal policy analysis and development experience, Sarah’s experience in institutional child safety, youth justice, corrections, women’s policy, domestic and family violence, and not-for-profit governance and operations is grounded in her passion for social justice

Board Member: Jonathan Butler-White

Jonathan is all about people, relationships and communication. His extensive background in specialist and generalist HR, leadership, strategy and governance underpin a passion for working with diverse individuals to find incredible solutions.
