Brett Roland, Chief Executive Officer, has worked at Jabiru since 2014. With over 20 years of experience in community work with children and young people in their families, schools, and communities and 25 years in a variety of diverse industries.
Brett is currently in leadership positions on the Board of the Fitzgibbon Community Centre and Jabiru Community College. He has also taught community development as a consultant in a range of community settings.
General Manager People Quality and Risk
Helena, General Manager People Quality and Risk, joined Jabiru in 2021 and has strategic and operational experience across professional services and healthcare, construction, education and retail sectors.
Helena has broad experience developing and implementing successful business solutions for Not For Profit organisations, family businesses, global partnerships, start-ups, turnaround’s and growth businesses, delivering services in a business partnering, HR management and external consultant capacity. With a proven track record providing solutions that drive business performance with a strong interest in building culture in purpose lead organisations.
General Manager School-Age Care
Leanne, General Manager School-Age Care, joined Jabiru in 2021 and has a wealth of knowledge working in the School-Age Care sector. She began her journey in the early childhood profession over 20 years ago when she started work as an OSHC educator after she finished high school. Leanne worked as an educator and then Assistant Coordinator while studying at University for five years. When Leanne graduated, she accepted a role as Coordinator and continued study in children’s services and business.
Moving forward 13 years, she had gained experience in several senior positions, which put her in good stead to lead the centralisation of 118 OSHC services with another statewide outside school hours care provider. Leanne most recently held a role as an investigator with Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), undertaking investigations related to critical incidents in OSHC, family daycare and early years services.

Lyn joined Jabiru as the Financial Controller in 2021. Lyn is a Chartered Accountant with experience in audit, not for profit and commercial roles up to Financial Controller level.
Lyn emigrated to Australia with her husband in 2001 and lived and worked in New Zealand from 2010 to 2019. Lyn held volunteer positions for not for profit organisations in New Zealand, including Board Treasurer for the Toy Library Federation of New Zealand and Treasurer for Wakatipu Toy Library. Lyn is passionate about working for organisations that support children and families to achieve their full potential.
B.Bus (Acc), CA
Nicole is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of diverse experience in financial, commercial and consulting roles. Prior to joining Jabiru in February 2022, Nicole held finance management roles in various industries, ranging from Software and Technology through to Utilities, Fintech, Media and Marketing.
The experience Nicole has gained includes finance management, strategic analysis and organisational change, mergers and acquisitions, development of administration functions, company secretarial and investor relations. Nicole has volunteered her time to P&C and OSHC committees, and also recently completed further study in Financial Planning.
