Fees and Benefits

Affordable Fees

Jabiru endeavours to keep fees fair and affordable for families.

Each of our services is unique, however, and so the fees vary from service to service.

Example fees are shown below.

How to pay

All Jabiru fees are payable in arrears, not in advance. We will email you a fee statement every week.

Jabiru requires all families to provide a Direct Debit Authority nominating a financial institution account to pay your fees from. Direct Debit assists parents with convenient ways to pay, and helps Jabiru avoid bad debts and keeps administration costs lower so we can invest more in our services.

You can nominate whether you want us to debit your account weekly or fortnightly, on a Thursday.

If you wish to avoid having fees taken from your account, you can pay your account in full as detailed in your fees statement, before the direct debit date on your statement.  If we do not receive your payment by this date we will debit your nominated account.

Fee Assistance

Our fees are already very affordable, however families eligible for Child Care Subsidy pay even less, with a proportion of their fees paid by Centrelink.

Your family’s combined income will determine your percentage of subsidy.

The parent or guardian with the lowest hours of recognised activity per fortnight will determine the hours of subsidised care you can claim per fortnight.

How the Child Care Subsidy is paid

Your Child Care Subsidy is automatically credited to your Jabiru account, and our invoice to you will only be for the gap between your subsidy and our fees.

Before school care

  • Full fee $15.80. 2 Hours per session

After school care

  • Full fee $22.80. 3 Hours per session
