Jabiru’s community programs are is all about children, young people and families. The program provides tailored support for young people and their families to help them connect with their community and services.

We've been operating health and wellbeing services for over 30 years!

  • Our programs are accredited under the Human Service Quality framework, Accredited Employing Authority for Education Queensland and National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Our practice principles are evidence-informed, includes relationship focused, seamless and collaborative.
Early Years Children and Families

Jabiru’s Early Years Place provides a variety of free services for all families with a child aged 0–8 years residing in North Brisbane.

School-age Children and Families

Our staff design and deliver high-quality programs by engaging children, focusing on the overall health and wellbeing of all children in our school-age care program through our Edu-care model.

Young People and Families

Jabiru’s Youth Support Service helps young people experiencing vulnerabilities to live their best lives.

Play

Our mobile Pop-up Play Bus is a mobile play bus for 0 – 8 year olds. We offer a menu of fun activities focusing with in Jabiru’s own Communities for Kids Framework. We also and co-ordinate and facilitate our Park Play Initiatives.

Jabiru exists to partner with children, young people and families – with a particular focus on those experiencing vulnerabilities – by creating safe places and relationships that connect people, resources, ideas and communities.
